Past Simple Tense (development of grammar skills)
The purpose of exercises: to teach students to differentiate past forms of Regular and Irregular verbs; to improve students grammar skills, while using Past Simple Tense; to develop speaking skills, including repetition and construction of simple sentences based on given past forms.
Love in the Past Students are supposed to find Infinitive forms and Past Simple forms of the verbs in order to remember them better.
Piling up events Students are given verbs in the past tense. Then a teacher starts a simple chain of events with a definite sentence. The first student continues, repeating the teachers sentence but adding a further clause including his verb. The second continues likewise.
