London Zoo is one of the most famous of all London attractions. It is situated in Regents Park and was opened in 1828 by the Zoological Society of London.

The Zoo is open every day from 9 oclock in the morning till 7 oclock in the evening. London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo.
London Zoo has almost 750 species of animals, Over 12,000 animals live in the Zoo today, many of them are rare.
Many different kinds of beautiful birds live in London Zoo.
8 There has been an aquarium at the Zoo since 1853 and was the first aquarium to be established in the world. The exhibit is separated into three halls, each home to different types of fish.
Visitors can find out facts about the animals, including where they live, what they eat and if they are endangered in the wild.
A good time to visit the animals is when they take their food. Then you can see how the sea lions catch their fish.
The funniest animals in London Zoo are monkeys. They jump, run and play with each other. They are not afraid of people and can come very close to them.
London Zoo is the perfect day out for people of all ages.
