Unfortunately, I have a few information about my ancestors, but I think, that it is very interesting and exiting to know who were your ancestors, what they did, what they wore, how did they live. I want to say about one of my ancestors, my grandfather

Aslanyan Gurgen Sedrakovich He was born on the 10 th of February in 1923 year.

He grew up in a large family. My grandfather was the eldest of 5 children.

At the 18 year of he went to the army, being a pupil of the 10 th form.

I know quite a bit about him. But I fond out that my grandfather participated in the Great Patriotic War. He went to the front as a volunteer in 1941 year.

I know that in ordinary life he liked sport, for example he was keen on playing football. May be this feature handed down to me, because like football too. He knew the Armenian language, and was fond of reading Armenian literature. He was the first violinist in the village, and taught others to play this wonderful instrument. My grandfather studied very well, and was very cheerful and sociable, had a lot of friends.

During the War he was lost. But I have his medals and badges for sport achievements. He lived in an ordinary family, which always waited for him and believed that one day he will return.

Faith, hope and love – that were the values and wealth of this family. I believe that our ancestors are alive until we remember them. Many years have passed, but my family remembers and is proud of my grandfather. Thats a pity that I didnt know him, but I believe he was a very good man.
