Trafalgar Square We start from Trafalgar Square. On the column in the centre there is a statue of Admiral Nelson who defeated the French at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

Piccadilly Circus Piccadilly Circus is the meeting point of six streets.
Hyde Park Hyde Park is a very democratic park.
St. Jamess Park It is one of the royal parks. Here you can see pelicans and ducks.
Regents Park In Regents Park there is the London Zoo. It is one of the biggest zoos in the world.
Buckingham Palace The Queen of England lives in Buckingham Palace. It is a wonderful building with a monument in front of it which is the Queen Victoria Memorial.
The Houses of Parliament The House of Parliament is the seat of the British government.
Big Ben The large clock in one of the towers is Big Ben. Big Ben is the name of the clock and the bell of the clock tower of the Houses of Parliament. You can hear the sound of Big Ben every hour in London.
Westminster Abbey On the other side of Parliament Square is Westminster Abbey. It is one of the most famous and beautiful churches in London.
The Tower Bridge The Tower Bridge London stands on the river Thames.
The Tower The legend says that without ravens the Tower will fall.
St. Paul`s Cathedral The famous English architect Sir Christopher Wren built it in the 17th century after the Great Fire.
