Elton John
Sir Elton Hercules John ( real name Reginald Kenneth Dwight ) was born on 25 March He is an English rock singer, composer and pianist. Knight bachelor (1997) and knight of the order of the British Empire.
During his career, Elton John has sold in the United States and Britain has more albums than any other British solo artist.
Elton John is also known as a social activist, particularly in the field started in the late 1980s in the fight against the AIDS epidemic. Elton John was inducted into the Hall of fame rock and roll hall of fame in 1994, is still one of the most successful rock artists in the UK.
Reginald Kenneth Dwight was born in Pinner, England in the family of a commander of a squadron of the air force Stanley Dwight and his wife Sheila (nee Harris). Young Dwight was raised primarily by his mother and father were not often seen. Stanley and Sheila divorced in 1962, when Dwight was 15.
Dwight began playing piano when he was four. He was able to play any song. At age eleven he won a scholarship to the Royal Conservatory, where he then studied for six years
